One of New Zealand’s longstanding family-owned tourism companies has announced the establishment of a new brand, Vokali, to focus on its growing number of event and incentive clients and enquiries.
Part of the Leisure Time Group, the new DMC brand Vokali will take over the events and incentive workload and enquires currently coming into its Inbound Tour Operator businesses; Travel Time South Pacific and AgriTravel International. This will enable each brand to focus on their areas of speciality, with all continuing to work on attracting international clients to come to New Zealand – for leisure or for business.
Leisure Time Group Managing Director, Scott Mehrtens, said it was a very exciting time for the Group and the new brand, Vokali. “Over the 30+ years that we have operated, we have been involved in a growing number of programmes involving business events, conferencing and incentive travel. We decided that we would develop a new focused MICE brand and resource this appropriately to enable us to fulfil the increasing number of conference and event-related enquiries and allow our leisure team to focus on our main Inbound Tour Operator business, Travel Time South Pacific.”
The experienced Vokali team, based in Hamilton and Auckland, offer nationwide services to NZ and international clients wishing to partner with them for select components of their next event, or entire event management.
Vokali is a gold member of Conventions & Incentives New Zealand (CINZ) and offers highly personalised service, to assist with clients’ workload while creating memorable events with exacting standards and professional support throughout.
As a unique point of difference, Leisure Time Group owns a modern fleet of coaches giving Vokali clients assurance of quality and cost-effective transportation throughout New Zealand. The coach fleet has been awarded Gold Qualmark accreditation and has an exclusive concession with the New Zealand Department of Conservation.
