New Zealand removes pre-departure Covid testing
More great news as the New Zealand Government announces that they are removing the requirement for a pre-departure Covid test before flying to New Zealand, effective from June 21, 2022.
All visitors must be fully vaccinated, or have an exemption, and need to complete the New Zealand Traveller Declaration form before travelling into the country.
To complete the declaration the following details will be required:
- Passenger’s flight number and date of arrival into New Zealand
- Passport details
- Covid19 Vaccination or Exemption details
- Contact details in New Zealand
- Emergency contact details
Most travellers are currently asked to take two rapid antigen tests (RATs) after they arrive in New Zealand, these are given free of charge upon arrival. More details HERE on this testing requirement.
